Calhoun Enterprises is one of the top go-to companies for publishing administration, royalty accounting and back office record label administration.  Music industry veteran Jayme Calhoun founded the company in 1997 with the goal of assisting independent music publishers, professional musicians, and artists releasing independent projects with all the business aspects of the industry so that they could focus solely on the music and creative side.

Calhoun Enterprises represents publishing catalogs that include cuts in all genres of music from George Jones and Cody Johnson to Beyonce’ and Bonnie Raitt, and everything in between including children’s music, a capella, hard rock, CCM, and R&B/hip-hop. Additionally, the company handles licensing and royalty distribution among other services on a wide range of projects and labels  

The company also offers a variety of consulting services including intellectual property issues, distribution deals, performing rights organization interactions, drafting and reviewing publishing and production contracts, producer management, copyright licensing for both licensees and licensors, and royalty accountings for record labels and publishing groups. Calhoun’s consulting clients include Match Group, Tesla, and Cirque du Soleil along with several television stations and other independent users of music.

Calhoun has over 30 years of experience in the music industry including 10 years at performing rights organization SESAC where she rose to senior director, business affairs. She is a graduate of Belmont University.
